Lifeguard Training Instructor

This course offers the American Red Cross certification and training necessary to teach the Lifeguarding Course.  Participants must be certified in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR/AED for Lifeguards.  Ages 16+

Prerequisites:
Possess a current American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED
Successfully complete the online session for the Lifegaurding Instructor course, which includes:

*Orientation to the American Red Cross
*Orientation to the lifeguarding Instructor Course and Pre-course Exam

Tread Water 2 minutes with hands under armpits
Swim 300 yards continuously
Timed 20 yard swim (face out of water, no goggles) using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive to a depth of 7 feet, retrieve a 10-lb object, return to surface & swim 20 yards back to starting point with object.
