Update - June 8, 2016: Indecent Exposure Subject Identified

Irvine, CA – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) has identified the subject in a lewd conduct and indecent exposure case. His name is not being released pending the ongoing investigation.

On June 3, 2016, a man was observed by witnesses engaging in lewd conduct and indecent exposure in a gated pool area at the Los Olivos Apartments in Irvine. When a witness attempted to follow him, he ran to his vehicle and fled the scene.

On June 7, 2016, IPD issued a press release seeking the public's help identifying the subject. A person familiar with the subject recognized him and contacted police.

Irvine, CA – The Irvine Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a subject in a lewd conduct and indecent exposure case.

The subject is described as male, Middle Eastern or Italian, age 40s, 5’8", 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing black aviator-style sunglasses, a gold chain, and black swim shorts. He may also have been wearing gold-striped workout attire and/or black slacks. The subject was driving an older-model sedan, possibly a Honda, with faded dark blue paint.  

Between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016, the subject was in a gated pool area at the Los Olivos Apartments in Irvine. He was observed by witnesses engaging in lewd conduct and indecent exposure. When a witness attempted to follow the subject, he ran to his vehicle and fled the scene.
