Irvine, CA – The Irvine Police Department has arrested two men for various weapon and drug related charges. The suspects are identified as Rigoberto Donan, 36, and Frank Perez, 45, both of Santa Ana.

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on June 13, 2016, an Irvine officer conducted a traffic stop near Interstate 405 and Sand Canyon Avenue. After learning that Perez was on probation, the officer conducted a search of the vehicle. The suspects were found to be in possession of a loaded firearm, which was determined to have been stolen in a 2010 residential burglary in Irvine. The suspects were also found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
