Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting

The Government Finance Association recently awarded the City of Irvine a Certificate of Achievement for Excellent Financial Reporting for the City's 2013 Annual Financial Report.

The award is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, representing a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.

Irvine’s Annual Financial Report was judged to meet the high standards of the program including demonstrating a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to clearly communicate our financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read our report.
