Water Main Break at Jeffrey

Jeffrey Road Update: 

As of Thursday, August 7, IRWD is continuing to work on the necessary repairs to southbound Jeffrey from Barranca to Alton. One lane is open to through traffic.  The remaining southbound lanes will remain closed as work continues. Consider using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.

On Tuesday, August 5, southbound Jeffrey, from Barranca to Alton, was completely closed down due to a water main break from an IRWD reclaimed irrigation line. Public Works Traffic Management staff adjusted signal timing to relieve traffic congestion. No timetable has been provided by IRWD for the road reopening.
