Fourth of July Citywide Picnic

Pack a picnic lunch and join us at one of these beautiful city parks: Bill Barber Park, Deerfield Park, Northwood Park, Turtle Rock Park and University Park. Step back to a time when family, friends, lemonade and three legged races were what this holiday was all about! We have old fashioned games and activities planned at each park. 

 

Scheduled Activities

10:00am           Sign-ups begin!

11:00am           Parachute Games

11:30am           Sack Races

12:00pm           Hula Hoop & Limbo Contest

12:30pm           Family Relay Races

1:00pm             Water Balloon Toss

1:30pm             Tug-O-War     

2:00pm             Conclusion

 

As a special treat, FireHouse Stompers will be performing at Bill Barber Park from 11:00am to 1:00pm!  Don’t miss their great Dixieland sound!

Gates open at 3:00pm!  Enjoy a Food Court, Kid’s Games, Arts & Crafts, and Live Entertainment. Stay for the spectacular Fireworks Display at dusk!
