Northern Area Senior Facilities Community Workshop

Residents age 50 and older are encouraged to attend

8/14/2007

The City of Irvine is continuing its Northern Area Senior Facilities Study Project with a third and final community workshop on Thursday, August 30 from 9:30 a.m.-noon at Woodbury Community Center, located at 130 Sanctuary, Irvine. The workshop will feature representatives from the City and RJM Design Group, the study’s facilitators, who will review the history and goals of the study, recap preliminary findings from previous workshops, and present site analysis findings for future senior facilities regarding potential locations, site criteria and opportunities and constraints.

The study will result in a presentation to City Council regarding the study’s findings and serve as a reference guide for the City of Irvine. Community members age 50 and older are encouraged to attend and provide input on future facilities and desired building amenities/spaces to serve the 50+ generation. For more information, or to attend the free workshop, call Robbie Kribell at 949-724-6647.
