| Wall of Recognition | | | Guy Lemmon | | | Distinguished Citizen | | | Guy Lemmon is a 39-year Irvine resident and founder of the Ryan Lemmon Foundation. Named after his son who died in an automobile accident, the foundation was established in 1995 as a nonprofit with the mission of providing organizational and financial support to high school baseball programs in Southern California. Through this organization, Mr. Lemmon has helped student athletes pursue their athletic careers beyond high school by offering scholarships. His contributions to the baseball community and to the City of Irvine as a whole, has been monumental and unmatched. His continual advocacy for sports and student athletes is something that Irvine values, cherishes and appreciates. |
