| Wall of Recognition | | | Angelo and Marilyn Vassos | | | Community Services Commission | | | Angelo and Marilyn Vassos were among Irvines early pioneers, moving to University Park in mid-1960s. Individually and as a couple, Mr. and Mrs. Vassos have been devoted to civic affairs for decades. They have served on numerous committees, task forces, and commissions making countless contributions to the improvement of our City. They have played a special role in promoting a City commitment to affordable housing and open space preservation, two stellar achievements for our entire City. Marilyn also served as a Community Services Commissioner. |
