The City of Irvine appreciates the service of the following honoree:
| Wall of Recognition | | | Dave Christensen | | | In Memoriam | | | Dave Christensen, a business owner, avid racing enthusiast and aviator, served as a City Councilmember from 1996 until 2000. While on the Council, Christensen sat on boards of the Irvine Redevelopment Agency, the Transportation Authority and was a firm supporter of local police. He was also active in the effort to defeat the proposed El Toro Airport as a member of the El Toro Reuse Planning Authority (ETRPA). The 60 year-old Christensen died in a hiking accident in Arizona. |
