Benefits of Volunteering

There are many advantages to volunteering your time and effort, including: personal satisfaction, making a difference and feeling a sense of accomplishment in a job that serves a worthwhile cause. Volunteering is also a way to gain meaningful experience and contacts and can be done on a one-time basis or over the course of many months or years. From the student learning a new skill to the senior practicing old skills, volunteering can be practical and fulfilling.
